After E3 this year, the Xbox is about to get some incredible games starting from this month that will run with next-generation graphics on Microsoft’s latest hardware.
Some games are already out such as Microsoft Flight Simulator while others are expected to launch later this year.
All of these games will be available on Day 1 on the Xbox Game Pass, which you should consider subscribing to if you want to save money. You essentially get 100s of games for the price of Rs 489/month.
Here are some of the most anticipated games for the Xbox Series X/S that gamers should keep a close eye on:1. Forza Horizon 5
Easily the best arcade racing games ever made, the folds at Playground Games are gearing up to release Horizon 5 on November 9th 2021.
At Xbox’s E3 showcase, we saw some mind-blowing photorealistic graphics representing the beautiful landscapes of Mexico. We can’t wait to get our hands on this game and so should you.2. Halo Infinite
The single most important game launch for Microsoft is the latest entrant in the Halo franchise. You can play this game on Xbox One, Series X/S or PC at launch and even get a free upgrade as a part of the ‘Smart Delivery’ program.
We’ve been playing the technical preview build of the game and it’s already a lot of fun to play. We will get to see the return of Master Chief after a five-year hiatus and can’t wait to experience the story for ourselves.3. Psychonauts 2
Releasing on 25th August, Psychonauts 2 will be the first platforming game to release on the Xbox Series X/S after Microsoft’s acquisition of 'Double Fine' game.
The game will have a cinematic style presentation that will involve a lot of humour and intrigue.4. Starfield
Bethesda’s Starfield is expected to launch on 11 November 2022 and will be exclusive to the Xbox Series X/S and PC. It’s Bethesda’s first science-fiction RPG that is expected to be far larger than Fallout and Elder Scrolls.
The game will also be available Day 1 on Xbox Game Pass which makes it even more compelling to subscribe to the service.5. Fable
The beloved franchise from the Xbox 360-era is making a return that will take players back to the world of Albion. While we don’t know much about the game, we can expect some incredible visuals and storytelling as it is being developed by ‘Playground Games’.
The developer is already known for making photorealistic environments for its Forza games and it will be exciting to see their take on Fable.
