Amit Shah Hints on the elections that it won’t be held early

On Friday, BJP President Amit Shah asked the BJP leaders of Telangana state and team to fight against the “corrupt, undemocratic family rule” of the TRS government. No early polls and Lok Sabha polls will be held as scheduled in April/May 2019, he hinted that on that and said that they will try to pledge the construction of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya before the general election.

On Friday, Mr Shah had a long meeting with his party leaders and activists to discuss strengthening the party for the elections. He said that the TRS government is pampering in “minority vote bank politics” by raking up 12 % Muslims quota, which is not allowed under the Constitution. He encouraged his party leaders and team to be ready to fight in 119 Assembly and 17 Lok Sabha seats. He will also keep the alliance option available for the national leadership of the party and when situation demands it will be pre-poll or post-poll alliance.

Before 2019 elections, he and PM Modi will visit Telangana and will address the public meetings as often as possible as per the promise made by Mr Shah. In order to form a government in Telangana the meeting was considered with Target Telangana and Mission 60 plus wherein they aim to win 60 plus Assembly seats.
