Armaan Kohli arrested by Mumbai police

On Tuesday, Armaan Kohli was arrested by Mumbai police from Lonavla. Armaan Kohli was on a run for almost a week and he was accused of assaulting his girlfriend Neeru Randhawa at their residence in Santacruz.
Mumbai police have arrested him on Tuesday evening from Lonavla from his friend’s farmhouse. On Wednesday, he will be produced in court for police custody.
On June 4, Armaan’s 35-year old girlfriend filed a case against him and as per her statement, he was arrested under sections 323 (punishment for voluntarily causing hurt), 504 (intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace) and 506 (punishment for criminal intimidation) and other relevant sections of the IPC (Indian Penal Code).
Since then he was on run, Randhawa and Kohli was in a relationship from past three years and were living together in a flat in Santacruz. They both argued on some fiancial issues on June 3 and then he pushed her and being voilent with her.
She was hospitalised after the incident by her driver and had head and knee injuries.
He was changing his SIM card to avoid cops and to stay in touch with his family, friends and lawyer but when he went to the market to purchase a new SIM card in Lonavla, one citizen identified him and informed police.
A team from Santacruz police station reached Lonavla and within 2 hours he was arrested.
