Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and his Party three members spent the night at the office of the Lieutenant-Governor, Anil Baijal in Delhi.
Mr Kejriwal, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia and Ministers Gopal Rai and Satyendra Jain on Monday staged a sit at Raj Niwas at around 6 PM. They are demanding to approve the government's proposal for home delivery of rations.
The officers denied to written communication with the political executive after allegedly assaulted on the Chief secretary Anshu Prakash by the AAP MLAs at the residence of the Chief Minister. The LG had disagreed as the officers are on strike, in a statement on Monday. Raj Niwas has witnessed the file pertaining to the delivery of rations is pending with the Food and Civil Supplies Minister, not the L-G.
Mr Kejriwal said in a tweet on Tuesday morning that the struggle was on.
Mr Sisodia tweeted: "Good Morning @LtGovDelhi Sir! Delhi CM and 3 ministers are still waiting in your waiting room since yesterday morning”.
We hope today you'll get time from your busy schedule to resolve these three issues. Till then we are waiting...."
The tussle between AAP and Lieutenant-Governor is not new as Arvind Kejriwal has accused LG before. AAP is also demanding the full statehood to Delhi’s people.
