Donald Trump declares India as one of the top illicit drug producing Countries

The President of United States of America, Donald Trump has identified India among the 21 countries involved in major illicit drug production and transit countries. 
There are many other Asian countries apart from India in this list like Afghanistan, Pakistan and Myanmar which are also identified to be involved in illicit drug production and transit.
The Bahamas, Belize, Bolivia, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Jamaica, Laos, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Peru, and Venezuela, are other countries listed in the group, as per a presidential determination.
Other Asian countries identified as major drug transit or major illicit drug producing countries are Afghanistan, Pakistan and Myanmar.
The Bahamas, Belize, Bolivia, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Jamaica, Laos, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Peru, and Venezuela, are other countries listed in the group, as per a presidential determination.
"A country's presence on the foregoing list is not necessarily a reflection of its government's counter narcotics efforts or level of cooperation with the United States," Trump said.

Apart from many reason one reason of Donald administration of Countries in tle list is also highly depended on their Geographical, economical and commercial conditions which actually provides easy routes of drugs transit, even if the government is taking control or robust measures, said the US President.
Simultaneously, Trump nominated Bolivia and Venezuela as countries that have failed miserably during last 12 months to adhere to their obligations under international counter-narcotic agreements. He also determined that support programs to aid the promotion of democracy in Venezuela which is in the best of interests to the United States.
Trump revealed that US government has spent 4 USD Billion dollars in funding and helping this national crisis.
Trump administration is determined to address all the factors that is fueling to drug crisis have devastated many communities across America, it includes the steps to discourage over prescription , recovery progress, expand of treatment, conducting public education programs to stop Illicit drug uses and also encouraging domestic drug enforcement at the borders, Concluded Donald.
Drug production and trafficking in these three countries directly affect the US national interests and the health and safety of American citizens, he said. 
"Heroin originating from Mexico and cocaine from Colombia are claiming thousands of lives annually in the United States. Afghanistan's illicit opium economy promotes corruption, funds the Taliban, and undermines that country's security, which thousands of United States service men and women help defend," Trump stressed.
However, the irony is that India has been on this list by US since 2004, when George Bush issued it first in 2003 law by the Congress and Former President Barack Obama continued to do the same.
