Imran Khan said people going to receive Former PM were “donkeys”

Imran Khan Chairman of PTI (Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf) taunted his rival by saying the people who have gone to receive former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif at the Airport in Lahore were “donkeys.”

On Thursday, while addressing a rally Mr Khan said, “How will Muslim Leagues go to the airport to receive Nawaz Sharif ? Will they tell their children that they went to welcome the thief (Sharif) who had looted billions of rupees from the country?"

He declared that no PML-N party worker would go to the airport to receive Nawaz Sharif and people who go there were fool.

He also added that both father and daughter have stolen the wealth of Pakistan and they are coming to Pakistan and people visited to receive them.

Imran said that PTI has been fighting against corruption in the country from last 22 years and he called new PML-N President Shahbaz Sharif as conman.

Imran suggested the people to vote for his party on July 25 in the general elections, promising to build a developed and strong nation.

Khan has also added that, "I believe in dignity, honour and respect for votes and voters, but the nation has no respect for plunderers."
He requested his party workers for the patience till Sharif’s arrival from London later in the day.

Nawaz and his daughter Mariyam are expected to land at Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport at 6:15 pm (local time).

Nawaz was sentenced to 10 years imprisonment and a fine of 8 million pounds and Mariyam was sentenced to 7 years imprisonment with 2 million pounds by the Accountability Court.

They both will be arrested after their landing.
