Jayanagar, Karnataka seat captured by Congress, party on 80 seats in assembly

On Wednesday, The Congress were managed to won the election in Bengaluru's Jayanagar constituency in Karnataka on the polls held on June 11. Currently Congress has 80 seats in the assembly.
In the first 2 hours of counting of votes for the Jayanagar Assembly constituency, The Congress was leading by 7300 votes over BJP. Wherein Congress candidate Sowmya Reddy was leading over BJP’s B N Prahlad.
Earlier the assembly elections held in Karnataka on May 12 and after the death of B N Vijayakumar, who was holding the seat, the poll in Jayanagar was cancelled.
Sowmya Reddy daughter of former minister and Senior Congress leader Ramalinga Reddy and B N Prahlad, brother of Vijayakumar were in the opposition parties for the seat.
 

Around the counting center police have made extravagant security arrangements.
