Kamal Haasan's Political Party registered by Election Commission

On June 23, Kamal Haasan’s Political Party is officially registered by Election Commission. According to election body, by early next week the party will receive the documents.
On Wednesday, Kamal met Election Commission officials for the registration process of his party during his trip in Delhi. He also told reporters on Wednesday that Election Commission officials had certain queries regarding their party and they have provided all those details. Soon their party will get recognition.
On Tuesday, Kamal Hasaan met UPA (United Progressive Alliance) chief, Sonia Gandhi and Congress President Rahul Gandhi and on Wednesday he met with election officials. They were discussing about the political situation in Tamil Nadu but Hasaan denied the possibility of alliance in Tamil Nadu. In February, Mr Hasaan launched his political party named as Makkal Needhi Maiam which means People’s Justice Centre. The launch was done at a mega event in Tamil Nadu with the presence of Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal and many others.
