Rahul Gandhi the President of Congress on Wednesday has said that under BJP rule the project of bullet train can never be completed. If any government who can complete the project, it would be by the Congress. He said, “It should not be called a bullet train. It should be referred to as a magic train. It will never be constructed, if at all it is ever made it is going to be in Congress regime.”

The day Prime Minister made an announcement in the regard of bullet train, Rahul Gandhi and several other Congress leaders have called the project as anti-poor and have opposed it.

As per Rahul Gandhi, he said that the bullet train will be a symbol of Japan as it will be manufactured there only not in India so it will not be India’s strength but will be the strength of Japan. The tickets of bullet trains will not be less than Rs 15,000 wherein only ministers and upper class can travel in it said by Mr Gandhi in July 2016 to his workers in Lucknow.

Mr Gandhi had confronted Mr Modi for not talking about the rape incidents but bullet trains recently in May this year.

It will be more for upper class which will kill everything else including safety. Railway Minister may take pledge on day after. Rs One lakh crore for rail safety, track upgrading, signalling & not for bullet train.
