The admissions’ procedure for undergraduate programmes at Delhi University is now under progress. More than 35000 students are completing their application through the first cut-off list; and slightly more than half of the seats at Delhi University colleges have been filled. The cutoffs for 94 programmes across all institutions this year are set at 99 percent or above. Because of the inflated Board results, DU received almost 9,200 applications this year from students with perfect scores from various school boards. Under the first cut-off list, which was announced on October 1, the university received a total of 60,904 applications.For the first ten courses on the list, eight colleges set their cut-offs at 100%. As a result, admittance to many elite programmes may be limited to the initial list. For undergraduate studies, Delhi University has 70,000 seats in university institutions for under graduates.The admissions’ process for this list concluded at 11:59 p.m. on Friday, the last day to make payments.The second cut-off list for the university will be revealed today, 9th October, 2021, Saturday.
According to principals, the drop in cut-off scores will be no more than 0.5 percent to 1 percent.
