'Our Lalit Is No More': Co-Stars & Fans React To 'Mirzapur' Actor Brahma Mishra's Demise

In a tragic turn of events, actor Brahma Mishra who was popular for playing the fan-favourite character of Lalit in the highly popular web series Mirzapur has passed away. 

What’s even more heartbreaking is that Police found his semi-decomposed body in his flat in Versova and the cause of his death is yet unknown. 

According to a report in Midday, his body has been sent for an autopsy to Cooper Hospital in Mumbai. 

Sharing the news of his demise, actor Divyenndu, who played Munna Tripathi in Mirzapur posted a selfie with Brahma and wrote in his caption, “RIP Brahma Mishra Our Lalit is no more Let’s pray for him everyone”.

Other co-stars from Mirzapur, Shweta Tripathi, Shriya Pilgaonkar and Vijay Varma also paid tribute to Brahma Mishra. 

While Shriya commented “Heartbreaking”, Shweta shared his picture on her Instagram story and wrote, “RIP Brahma very lucky to have known and worked with you”. 

Vijay Varma shared Brahma’s picture on his Instagram story and reacted with, “No” along with a heartbreak emoji. 

Gurrmeet Singh, the creator of Mirzapur wrote in his Instagram post, “He brought a smile to a million faces. He will be missed. RIP Bramha Mishra...”

Excel Entertainment, the production company behind Mirzapur shared an Instagram post with the caption, “We are deeply saddened by the untimely demise of #BramhswaroopMishra. Our condolences are with his family and friends. May he rest in peace.”

Not just celebs, several fans also took to social media to express their sorrow after the news of Brahma Mishra’s death broke.

After Season 2 of Mirzapur, several memes related to Lalit and Munna Bhaiya had gone viral on social media. Fans had also reacted strongly to the character arc Brahma’s character Lalit in the show. 

Apart from Mirzapur, Brahma also featured alongside Akshay Kumar in the 2019 hit Kesari. His other work includes Dangal, Super 30, Haseen Dillruba and Hello Charlie.
