The highest paid Infosys top executive Sangita Singh quits

Ms Sangita Singh, Executive Vice President and head of Infosys taking care of healthcare and life sciences business has resigned from the company. She has resigned in less than 2 years after joining the firm.
Sangita had joinedfrom cross-town rival Wipro where she was looking after healthcare and lifesciences portfolio that had then a $800 million run rate, she was one of the most senior women who was running an Indian IT Industry business.
Senior VP and global head of manufacturing and Edge products Mr Nitesh Banga has also resigned from the firm as he got an option to work as COO of Global Logic and he report to its CEO Mr Shashank Samant.

Last year in October, its CEO Pervinder Johar had resigned within eight months of joining the company. A few months back Mr Gururaj Deshpande, VP and delivery head – financial services at Infosys, was appointed as the COO of Edgeverve.
Sangita’s resignation is not a surprise as many senior members makes exits from the second largest IT firm in the country.

Atul Soneja has been appointed as the head of its product and platforms subsidiary EdgeVerve and aslo serves as Senior VP and service offering head - financial services.
